This quest takes place near the Western coast. I take out a level 35 Thundertusk, Skydrifter, and level 30 Thunderjaw.

I'm about 2/3 through the main story now I think. I've been working on most of the side quests just to consume all the content. I'm a bit over-leveled right now for my current place in the main story - the next quest is level 26, and I'm level 36 (38 as of the upload of this video).

I found a Glowblast Sharpshot Bow (amazing tear stats and really good precision damage) and spent a few hours farming up the Greenshine to maximize its upgrades. I added coils that I found for +25% stealth damage, +25% reload speed and +25% tear damage. I have a full Infiltrator skill tree, so I have Braced Shot.

Its precision arrows do 156 impact/105 tear.
Its tear arrows do 16 impact/543 tear.

This bow can one-shot kill a lot of level 20 range machines with Braced Shot (at least on Normal difficulty). I knew I had a powerful bow when I used Braced Shot against a half health Fire Bristleback, and the shot killed both the Bristleback and the full health one standing next to it...

Quite a difference from the struggle I had previously against a Thunderjaw. I now spend a lot less time looking for components on machines to exploit during fights, and the amazing Tear damage is great for getting components that I need to separate before the machine is killed.

Dare I say, though, this bow I think makes the game a bit too easy. If I can find another Apex Thunderjaw (level 48), I'll take it on.

Update: After having finished the game, I would say Braced Shot absolutely makes the game too easy. It's more worthwhile to look for weaknesses to exploit rather than just slamming everything with an explosive arrow. The end fights were far too easy with it.

Played on a PS5, 1080p, Performance mode.
