Horizon Zero Dawn: Fix 30fps Micro-Stutters (Frame-Pacing) Issue on NVIDIA GPUs
For those wanting to cap the frame-rate to 30fps on NVIDIA - engaging Adaptive VSync via the control panel is the best way to go about in its current state. The game is using custom (Ultra-High) settings, rendering at 1080p in this video.
Issues:
- In-game VSync incurs a performance hit
- Using RivaTuner to cap the frame-rate to 30fps exhibits constant micro-stutters
- Nvidia Inspector tool has the same issue as RT above
