22Horizon Zero Dawn PC Gameplay part 1....If you missed Horizon: Zero Dawn on the PS4, you're in for a treat. The action adventure game revolves around protagonist Aloy as she slays dinobots in a very lovely post-apocalyptic open world.
Humans have reverted to tribal societies after the robot dinosaurs went rabid. It's not as ridiculous as it sounds, honest. Aloy is a hunter living at the edges of society but quickly becomes the center of intra-tribal politics as each tribe searches for a solution to the aggressive robodinos.
Aloy climbs, jumps, and shoots a bow with the best of 'em. Hunting big electronic game is a real highlight. Although HZD's story is pretty engaging, getting into scrapes with red-eyed screaming T-Rex monsters is the treat. With every beast she encounters out in the open world, Aloy has to tactically think about the best way to take it down. The right type of arrows can bust important parts off of big baddies, making each fight a bit of an action puzzle. The T-Rex machines have gun turrets on their backs (because of course they do), which Aloy can use special arrows to shoot off and then pick up to turn the firepower back on its source.
There's some light crafting with metal parts scrapped from kills. There are lots of points of interest and quests dotting the map to find and check off the list. The story's great to boot and Aloy is a solid, stoic-but-sarcastic protagonist.
