One-Boost-Wonder cars have always been very weak on speed tracks, and the Custom Volkswagen is one of them. While not the worst One-Boost-Wonder, it does have a great stat pool all around. It is also a small vehicle and has decent handling to make most corners well without losing speed. It also has really nice acceleration for off the line starts and relatively high speed, although it is the slowest One-Boost-Wonder in the game. It's aerial shortcut abilities are lacking due to its boost as well. This means you stay on the track at all times, no flying Custom VW bugs in the sky at all!
The Custom Volkswagen is not the best stand alone STH car in the world, but it is at least better than the Shark Bite, which is another One-Boost-Wonder. If you're looking for the best One-Boost-Wonder, use either Veloci-Racer or Winning Formula.
