Hot Wings is a vertically scrolling arcade mobile game that offers a very compact, yet satisfying experience. The game plays in a similar manner to an endless runner, where the players take control of a Phoenix that has to fly through levels engulfed in flames, trying to reach the ancient city of Heliopolis.

The game’s Phoenix is controlled by a single finger, following its left-right movement across the screen. Here, the mission of the players is to pass through openings in the blockers, while at the same time there are blue myrrh eggs that should be collected and which offer bonuses like an additional in-game life.

The gameplay of Hot Wings is demanding, especially at the beginning, where the players need to react fast to avoid being crushed instantly. But, the same challenge is what keeps the player engaged with the game, trying to outdo their previous attempt. In this regard, Hot Wings use the best element of the endless runner genre, but at the same time, offer 20 distinctive levels that have to be completed. All this makes it a nice blend of genres and the mix definitely works well for the Hot Wings.
