You've seen tons of DIY leaf blower, Hovercraft Science projects. While Leaf Blowers are not the most efficient source of lift for hovercraft, but is an easy hack and quite popular. Leaf Blower Hovercraft demonstrate the hovercraft lift principals on smooth surfaces so in that regard I can't have complete disdain for them.

Now, since it is Fall and every time I take the hovercraft out I get a face full of leaves this idea was born- Use my hovercraft as a Leaf Blower. I was trying to back down, the leaf covered ramps using gravity to blow the leaves away first. I couldn't get enough momentum on the first ramp to cross the road to where the real leaf action was, plus I also wanted a camera placed downwind to show how quickly the leaves were blown down into the River.... Maybe next Time I will have my other camera and Tripod.. and be more aggressive in getting past the flat road.
