But there were two standalone favorites that were expected to match up in historic fashion: mrekk and maliszewski. The two absolute best tournament players in the world were expected to face off, and everyone expected this to be a defining moment in osu history. We all expected their matchup to be close and intense, but everything started off rather one sided. Everything seemed like a forgone conclusion, until the momentum swung thanks to a water break that represents possibly the greatest mental reset in osu! history...
