How About Some Mario Builder 64 (It's a Mario Maker Mod For Mario 64)
2It's me trying out Mario Builder 64 for the first time! MB64 is basically a Mario Maker mod for Mario 64 and, as a Mario Maker streamer, I had to try it out eventually. Basically, I downloaded 100 levels and randomly tried out a whole goddamn bunch of them. I'm not the best at Super Mario 64 but I had a good time nonetheless and experienced a good number of things you can't experience back in SMM2.
I'll say though, stream sort of had a slow start as at first I decided to try using my regular SMM2 rules which allocate 12 minutes per level - a bit much when all you're doing is running through the same jumps and dying. Things speed up nicely however when I switched to The Lightning Round, also from my SMM2 streams, wherein I only had 7 lives per level refreshing every time I got a star. That kept things moving and made every star rewarding. Made it so we saw more levels which helped because some were amazing.
This was the last stream before I go and get LASIK. Mostly it was very on topic outside of some quick follow ups up front, general Retroid Pocket Flip 2 hype throughout, indie game guessing and shoutouts to the folks. I'll be out for at least a week though specifics are up in the air. Exciting times.
