How Big is the Map in Kenshi? Is this almost as big as the map in Daggerfall? Or more like the size of a game like Just Cause 3. Let's find out by walking across the entire map. Let's start in the northwest and walk to the southeast. You can't really control your character like we do that in other open world games. You have to put a waypoint and then he's walking to there. In the game you will use the topdown view a lot of times. But I wont. I will try to simulate a third person view during the whole journey. This means I will have to follow the character all the time.
I couldn't do this in one shot because of all the angry enemies so I had to cut and edit.
So it takes approximately 8 and a half hours to walk across this map. To compare: Just Cause 3 took me 7 hours and 51 minutes, Just Cause 1 took 8 hours and 15 minutes and Steep took 8 hours and 45 minutes.
