Here is the fifth part of my playthrough of my all-time favorite PS1 game that got a surprise remake on the Nintendo switch, and I couldn't have been happier. Somehow they managed to make this RPG still feel like playing the original but better in almost every way. The remixed Star Ocean soundtrack had some real highlights, the voice actors for Claude and Rena were a lot better than I expected, and the item creation system is still just as addictive while being streamlined.
