Dan Slott's 'The Clone Conspiracy' is one of the worst comics I've ever read, and it absolutely stands up as a bottom tier Spider-Man comic in every sense of the term. It's a ludicrously mean-spirited comic that seemed to only have been made to spit in the face of Scarlet Spider fans who'd simply wanted to see the character again after him being out of the spotlight for well over a decade.

It just makes no sense to me that writers like Dan and Zeb Wells seem to only want to use the Clone Saga, and by extension Ben Reilly, to tear him and his stories down.

I want one win for this character, Marvel. Ben Reilly deserves to be Spider-Man.
