This is definitely one of Spider-Man's saddest stories, focusing on Peter Parker sitting with the Sandman while he passed away due to his powers unexpectedly cutting out - leaving him unable to reform his sand.

Written by the awesome Chip Zdarsky, Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man issues 308 and 309 are some of the most superbly written Spidey stories in the modern day. Marvel needs to get back to this Peter Parker, because I'm just not interested in whatever Zeb Wells is cooking with him and Ben Reilly at all.

And yeah, I know Sandman doesn't pass away for good here, but I didn't want to get into all that in this video. You should definitely go read the comic, there's more to this story that I chose to leave out, True Believers.
