How Did Moses Part the Red Sea with a Rod?
According to the biblical account (Exodus 14), Moses, guided by God, led the people of Israel out of Egypt to free them from slavery. When they reached the Red Sea, they found themselves trapped between the sea and the pursuing Egyptian army. God commanded Moses to raise his rod over the sea, and then the waters parted, forming a dry path for the Israelites to cross. Once everyone had crossed, the sea returned to its course, covering the Egyptian army.
Teaching:
The parting of the Red Sea teaches us that, even in seemingly impossible situations, faith and obedience can open paths of liberation and hope. It reminds us that, with trust in God and perseverance, the greatest obstacles can be overcome.
