Secret subliminal messages hidden in Kids movies:
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST:
According to one YouTube video, it's totally wrong to see Beauty and the Beast as a story about Stockholm Syndrome and falling in love with someone who captured or kidnapped someone. It's hard to not see it that way since that's been the common interpretation since, well, forever.
But apparently, we can also look at it as two people figuring out how to not only fall in love with each other but also stay in love. This is a sweeter, more innocent subliminal message hidden in this Disney film, and it's definitely different from the others on this list. We can't argue with this message, can we? We can most likely all agree that if we see the film from this perspective, it brings a whole new meaning to the beloved story, and just makes us feel all warm and fuzzy. And we could all use some positivity these days.
TOY STORY:
Who doesn't love Mr. Potato Head?! In Toy Story, this wonderful character was reading a book, and it was none other than the story of A Bug's Life, meaning that it was a pretty smart (and literary) subliminal message.
ALICE IN WONDERLAND:
What's the subliminal message hidden in Alice In Wonderland (aka the super colorful and crazy movie about a girl who falls down a rabbit hole and winds up in a land of tea parties and talking flowers)? Don't take substances that are going to alter your mind.
Yup, this movie is basically a PSA against taking unknown substances, and it's easy to see why so many fans of the movie are convinced that this is the message that the film is portraying.
ALADDIN:
In one scene that fans are totally fixated on, Jasmine and Aladdin are hanging out on her balcony, and it seems like another character creepily whispers, "Good teenagers, take off your clothes." Um, what?!
THE LION KING: A HIDDEN WORD:
In this beloved movie that couldn't possibly get any more popular, Simba just had a rough night, and while looking up at the sky, Simba falls to the ground and the flower petals create a design in the sky. Some see a bad word written out, while others think naughty fans are reaching. Personally, I think dirty minded fans are looking for something that isn't there. It's so out of the movie's context.
According to some people, it was actually a 4-year-old kid who pointed this out, which is the most hilarious thing ever. Just try to imagine what their mom thought when they heard their kid say this! Kids really do say the darndest things. When Disney heard that people were spreading this rumor, they replied that the word was actually "SFX" but it does really look like that's an "E" and not an "F" so, honestly, who knows. The jury is out on this one.
WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT:
Who Framed Roger Rabbit came out in 1988, and while it might not be as talked about as Cinderella or The Lion King, it's still popular. In the movie, there's a scene where Jessica Rabbit is basically pushed out of a car, and it looks like she's totally going commando.
THE LITTLE MERMAID:
There's a scene in this Disney movie where a wedding takes place, and people have pointed out that it looks like the minister has gotten, um, kind of turned on. You know. In that way. Most viewers probably missed this since we were too focused on the fact that Ursula was marrying Prince Eric... and that completely broke our hearts.
FROZEN:
When Queen Elsa had a ball in the movie, there were some familiar faces, although most of us probably totally missed this... which is why it's a subliminal, hidden message. Two characters from the Disney movie Tangled, Eugene and Rapunzel, were actually at the ball. So what do you think this means? Are the Tangled and Frozen worlds actually the same one? Hmmm.
THE RESCUERS:
Fans of the movie have pointed out that there's something hidden in this one scene: a woman in the window behind the mice who isn't exactly wearing any clothes. This would be really, really tough to see while watching the movie, so it's no wonder that we all missed this. And, of course, it's not like we would be expecting to see this in this type of movie. It's actually the last thing that we would expect to see.
