How do you Explain a Human Footprint in Limestone? - How old is Limestone!
Geologists for the last 200 years have mapped out the entire worlds geological strata and have dated all of it in terms of millions and billions of years as far as the ages are concerned.
When we turn our attention to limestone in Texas it is assigned a date of 100-108 million years. Then when a fossil is discovered in this strata we can date it with confidence...right? . BUT what happens when a fossil, that is normally assigned a much earlier date (like a human fossil 2-4my)...what do we do? Case in point - Is this human foot print in limestone? Unless you squish geological time from 4.51 billion to 10,000 years it is nearly impossible to explain this footprint. Is LIMESTONE actually 4,500 years old? What do you think?
