21"Amateur" vs Castlevania (NES) using only sub-weapons. Puns allowed! What will the death to pun ratio be? (1CC attempt) Simon's Belmont whip can be used for candles, to get hearts. If you use a whip by mistake, you must use up 5 hearts at some point right after. Pot roast chicken aka wall meat, is allowed! Now that's what I call a nutrious pick up!

There's 6 levels in Castlevania 1, with 3 stages per level. Stage 1 is the Giant Bat. Stage 2-introduction of medusa heads, and Medusa herself. Stage 3-Mummies. Stage 4-Frakenstein. Stage 5-The "infamous" hallway & Death! Stage 6-Gears & Dracula himself
Had fun with this Castlevania community challenge! No speed run tactics are being used-so a glitchless/trickless "Amateur" trekking along in Dracula's Castle. And no damage boosts as well! Down the line, we would loves to speed run/PB this game!
What sub-weapons would Amateur use? And where? We got Holy Water and the Cross Boomerang. Maybe we use the Axe sometimes as well.

Hope you find this video entertaining, and also helpful, in seeing what tactics we will employ-of course, what tactics to avoid! (lol) But seeing "Amateur" on his A game on times, and him struggle, can be equally educational as well.
*We had a noise filter with the AC, as it was super humid, so the audio at times with "Expert" commentary (he was feeling a bit under the weather) could be off at certain times, but hope you still enjoy the video, and thank you for your time and support!
