183Like many Brazilians, his idol is Aryton Senna - one of the greatest drivers of all time. But, to drive in F1 like his hero did, Gabriel had to move alone with his coach to Europe at a young age, in order to keep developing his talent and racing abilities against the best up-and-coming stars in karting.
Gabriel is no ordinary talent, having won both Formula 3 and Formula 2 as a rookie, in consecutive years. He is also one of the nicest guys you will find in the paddock.
In an interview in the Pitstop podcast - which is available to watch on YouTube - Gabriel explains how he got started in motorsport and the decision of crossing the pond to chase his dream, which he ended up achieving.
Gabriel Bortoleto will race for Sauber F1 in 2025.
