How Geometry Dash Stayed Alive for So Long.
2,640Geometry Dash is one of those games that despite the lack of updates provided to us by robtop, continues to grow even to this day. With hundreds of thousands of daily players, millions of levels being made every year, and boundaries pushed by the community every single day; it's incredible how this game, which hasn't seen the 2.2 update release, even after 5 years since 2.1 released, continues to grow at an incredible rate. The official discord server has grown from 100 000 members in 2021, to over 300 000 in 2022. Content creators are growing at a rapid rate, and creating more beginner friendly content, players are pushing the skill ceiling to unforeseen heights, creators are pushing the limits of what's possible with decoration, gimmicks, and gameplay - from pocke's new 49 object level, to shardscapes, and nhelv creating unique playing experiences. It's truly a magical game. While not my favorite game of all time, I do owe GD quite a lot, and it truly is a masterpiece. Thank you RobTop :)
