If you want to save a bit of money but still get out there, backpacking doesn't have to be expensive, not does new clothing. I bought this pre-owned Fjallraven fleece hoodie for a fraction of the price. I then shaved off the pilling, and re-stitched some loose threading. You don't have to always buy new to get nice stuff! Thrifty.
