Other little things: used Rigify for the rigs, still have some getting used to on that front since the movement isn't as fluid as my old rig was. The spinny thing was made using the Blender Secrets Piston Rigging tutorial with slight adjustments.
Yeah, I thought what if I made the How I Did That series as #shorts. You know, people who browse shorts really seem to be into #blender and #claymation. Cool stuff.
