Hotdrop is when you go where everyone goes, good for learning to gunfight. Safe drop is the opposite, you go to a loot site no one else is. The 1v1 drop is my go to. You share a loot site with only 1 other team. This way you loot your drop site faster and get into manageable fights instantly. Assuming you win your 1v1 that is.
