I've been having trouble with live streaming with OBS in Game Capture mode, because I always got this black screen and nothing showed up ever. I spend some time looking around how to fix it and I finally find how. I have done this before but never thought to do one little thing that made all the difference. If you are using laptop you probably have two video adapters - one for graphical stuff and one for programs. Well that's the reason you can't stream and see this black screen. All talk about you changing it but all forget to tell you to restart your OBS after you do it . If you are watching this video you probably didn't thought of restarting as well and now you are searching for different way of fixing it.
So lets get to actual way of fixing it.
Step 1: Settings - Video - Video adapter ( There you should have selected by default the wrong one. )
Step 2 : Select the other adapter and press ok
Step 3 : Restart your OBS
Step 4 : Enjoy streaming

If that doesn't work :
1.Make sure the adapter isn't back to default one
2. Make sure you have selected the right mode/game
3. Remove and make new Game Capture mode
