Some details about how I captured the video from Space Engine and Eve Online to make the 360 videos. Replicating this does require a piece of software to transform the source frames into the Equirectangular Spherical projection, there are commercial packages to do this, but I wrote my own and it's horrificly slow.

After seeing my 360 video demos the developer of Space Engine added the correct rendering option so it'll be easier for other people to make these.
