How Language Takes Shape in Your Brain
Imagine something you've never seen before-- a talking hot dog, a unicorn, a tiger who's also an executive! Can you now list the things you actualy imagined? Were they images of things you've seen? Smelled? Heard? Tasted?
That's how word take shapes in your brain. Words and letters are more or less arbitrary symbols, but our brain translates those into something we can understand- our senses.
