Paul Miller, a writer for The Verge, decided to undertake a huge mission- unplug from the internet for an entire year. It may sound easy, but think about how connected you are- it's more than deactivating your facebook and staying away from online games- today, we do so much online, that actually functioning without it is doable, but time intensive.

What do you think of his mission? Miller admits that he didn't have the cathartic moment he thought he would; that he doesn't feel like a "better person. So, was the undertaking itself flawed? He mainly limited his ability to socialize, and therefore, isolated himself. Should he have unplugged from electronics too-- or would that not have achieved anything either?
