I bought this little machine on Thursday and have been having a blast with it - it's super powerful, and super fast, but just how fast is it?
Well, I figured I'd just take a video of it restarting - no edits, no cuts, and see how long it takes. I have a dual monitor set up, and the second monitor is to the left of my main one, and it came on a moment before the main (bigger, 4K) monitor. No slow downs yet, but I haven't tried blender yet, so who knows. Most of what I've done is small-ish tests - though Batman Arkham City runs like butter at 720p (i haven't tried higher), and I'm going to be giving a few other (older) games a try to see how they work. I didn't get this for gaming, though, so I'm not too concerned with that side of it - I got it for things like Photoshop and Video Editing , and I know it handles those well.
