I'm going to start by saying that this video should have been much longer, but for some reason the gameplay stopped recording at the end of the prologue. I'm going to play again and record with OBS this time, and NOT Nvidia's Geforce Experience software as that seems to be fussy right now.

This is indeed a very pretty game. I - for the most part - love it, but I have some things I need to comment on. I will preface everything with the disclaimer that this is a demo, it is not a final product, and as such should be considered unfinished.

The environments are amazingly pretty - unreal engine is being very well, and everything looks just so nice - lighting, paint finishes, environments, destruction, it's all lovely and makes the experience better.

The game play itself is good, too - and it doesn't play favourites - you can be in first place right up to the last corner and smack into an opponent and pit yourself into a trench and end up in 8th place, so don't be cocky, as they say.

The characters are...interesting. The voice acting is, well, *okay*, but not fantastic, and the movement is a bit slow. It's all fun, though, if a bit janky. It doesn't take away from the game, really, but it does give it a certain tone. I don't know if the other languages are performed differently , I can only comment on English.

As for the actual driving/performance, it's pretty good, but I will say the cars (at least the ones I drove) had a tendency to over-steer, and seemed to get stuck in "slow" mode (not to be confused with slow motion mode). The AI is pretty good - they're not overly aggressive, but they are good at bashing into you. They can be pitted/spun out pretty easily, and I'm confident that in multiplayer mode this would make for a lot of name calling and rage quitting, especially if you can do it right before a finish line.

My only real criticism is that there doesn't feel like there's a lot of *weight* to the cars - maybe there should be rumble/force feedback or something, but it's not a super-important thing, just something I noticed.

I will be buying this game when it comes out - and I will be posting more from the demo soon.

thank you for watching!
