Although the 90's was chalk full of Mega Man content, the rate at which they were being pumped out made it very easy for people to notice that the franchise was very formulaic. People quickly grew tired of 8-bit gameplay style the series was using, and clamored for something new. It took a bit of time, but on that faithful day in 1993, the idea of what a Mega Man game could be would change forever!
