5Tales of the Empire revealed how the Nightsister Morgan Elsbeth ultimately came to work for Thrawn, eventually spearheading the effort to bring him back to the known galaxy. While presenting the TIE Defender Program to the Empire, Morgan Elsbeth caught the attention of Captain Pellaeon, who served under Thrawn. Upon her return to Corvus, Pellaeon tested Elsbeth’s skills and capabilities, and after she proved herself by besting the Noghri Rukh, she was met by Admiral Thrown and offered the chance to serve him.
