Will Echo Return for Future Stories? | Star Wars Explained
1Clone Force 99 got a well-deserved happy ending in the The Bad Batch season 3 finale, but there's one character whose fate remains uncertain after the epilogue. For a long time, it looked as though the ending of The Bad Batch season 3 would be a tragic one, but luckily, the show's finale showed several of the squad's members living a long life. While it was a tremendously happy way to conclude the show, there was also a sign of darker things on the horizon for one member.
The finale of The Bad Batch season 3 was momentous for several reasons. One such reason was the new plot threads it created, such as how it connected to the main Star Wars movies by way of Governor Tarkin's appearance on Mount Tantiss. The main reason, though, was because of the stories it ended. Most of Clone Force 99 saw a happy ending, but one member was noticeably absent from the finale's epilogue, though, which makes the future of their story a mystery.
