In this video, I play osu!, showcasing how much gamma affects your gameplay on plays above your skill level and high AR above 11
My personal theory is that gamma allows me to see things 2 or 3 frames faster, effectively giving me a 33 or 49 milliseconds reaction time boost(since I'm on 60fps); which is a lot. In fact I have been training to raise my reaction time but just boosting the gamma gave me more gains than actually training it... So yeah it is pretty overpowered.
