How powerful can a single redstone wire be? a single redstone wire can be observed as on or off, 1 or 0, a single byte, and this can change every redstone tick which lasts 0.1 seconds. That is 1 byte per 0.1 seconds=10 bytes per second. But... redstone wire can have strength, a value that can be between 0 and 15 where 0 is off. 16 values=2^4, 4 bits of information. After teating the wire, I found that the fastest this information can be sent is once every 3 ticks, 0.3 seconds. Now, how long would it take a redstone wire to load a game of Minecraft?
