It has only been one episode so far, but Task has already set the expectations high as one of the best crime thriller TV shows of the year. I am totally hooked on to the story of a former priest turned FBI agent who leads a task force while trying to put an end to a series of violent robberies. With actors like Mark Ruffalo and Tom Pelphrev in the mix of things, the performances are top-notch and the plot is so engaging that I am left eagerly waiting for the next episode. The narrative explores the dark side of faith and its correlation with crime in a way, and the characters have a lot of depth that comes out through their intriguing story arcs.
