I think at this point everyone has heard every praise under the sun about this game. Tears of the Kingdom came to us as a smash hit, scoring a whopping 96 on Metacritic, and furthermore it damn sold 10 million copies in only 3 days. But it’s honestly not like this wasn’t expected. I’ve already made a video about the impact Breath of the Wild had on the open world genre, and honestly I didn’t think despite all the new abilities and gimmick, TOTK would do anything drastically different that would make it leave that same impact or even be better than Breath of the Wild. Nintendo of course proved me wrong, and the world of TOTK is so jarring, in its complexity, its beauty, its creativity, its wonder and the pure possibilities available to you at every corner.
