The original Star Wars: Battlefront II, also known as Star Wars: Battlefront 2 or Star Wars: Battlefront II classic (2005) is still regarded as one of the greatest Star Wars video games, and is still played over a decade later despite several modernised releases. This is because it lets fans of the film franchise experience epic battles as they were depicted in the prequel and sequel film trilogies with large multiplayer ground battles taking place in iconic locations such as the deserts of Tatooine to the forests of Endor. In the game you’ll participate in both the Clone Wars, fighting for the CIS or the Galactic Republic as well as the Galactic Civil War siding with the Galactic Empire or Rebel Alliance. You’ll also get to fulfil childhood dreams by playing as legendary Jedi and Sith heroes, driving an AT-AT across the ice planet Hoth and piloting TIE fighters and X-Wings while taking part in space battles.
