Accepting friend requests and adding friends on a PS5 console is a straightforward process. Here's how to do it:

Accepting a Friend Request:

From the Home Screen:
Turn on your PS5 and log in to your account.
Navigate to the Home Screen by pressing the PS button on your controller.
Look for a notification indicating that you have received a friend request. You may see it at the top of the screen or in your notifications.
Select the notification to open it.
Choose "Accept" to confirm the friend request. You can also select "View Profile" to learn more about the person before accepting.
Adding a Friend:

From the Home Screen:

Log in to your PS5 account.
Navigate to the Home Screen by pressing the PS button on your controller.
Select the "Game Base" icon on the control center at the bottom of the screen.
Find Your Friend:

In the Game Base, you can see your friends list, including your online friends, parties, and friends' status. Select "Friends."
Search for a Friend:

You can search for a friend by entering their online ID in the search bar and then select "Search."
Send a Friend Request:

If you find the person you want to add, select their profile.
On their profile page, choose "Send Friend Request."
