Electronic Arts and developer DICE have announced a closed beta for its anticipated upcoming first-person action game, Mirror's Edge Catalyst. I been eyeing this game up for quite some time so looking forward to get a test run of the game.

In terms of the sequel The closed beta for Mirror's Edge Catalyst will run for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on PC via EA's own digital distribution platform, Origin.

Those interested in participating can sign up for a chance to get into the closed beta through the website, which I have pasted in the description but do bare in mind that access is not guaranteed so this will be like a lottery.

In addition DICE dropped A new Mirror's Edge Catalyst Trailer which Showcases the Story behind the game and gives details to bad character Gabriel Kruger and the main character Faith Connors and the events that will unfold in the free-running sequel
After watching the trailer I really want to play this game as it does look pretty impressive and the launch date can’t come soon enough.

Originally Mirror's Edge Catalyst was set to launch on February 23, however the game was later delayed to May 24.
