Are you ready to streamline your Amazon shopping experience right from your mobile device? Adding a credit or debit card to your Amazon account can save you time and make your purchases just a tap away. In this video I'll show you how to easily add a credit or debit card to your Amazon account using the Amazon app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device. Whether you're adding another card to your account, or a new card for the first time, this quick and easy tutorial is for you.
Now let's walk through the steps to add a credit or debit card to your Amazon account using the Amazon mobile app.
Step 1. Open the Amazon app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device. You'll land on your Amazon home screen.
Step 2. Tap the "Menu" icon in the menu along the bottom of the screen. A menu opens.
Step 3. Tap "Account" in this menu. The next screen shows you options associated with your Amazon account.
Step 4. Scroll down to the Payments section, and then tap "Your Payments." You'll land on the Wallet part of the Amazon Pay screen.
Step 5. Find the Cards and Accounts section, and then tap "Add" in this section. The Add a Payment Method screen is displayed.
Step 6. Tap "Add a Credit or Debit Card." The next screen prompts you to enter the details associated with the credit or debit card you want to add to your Amazon account.
Step 7. Enter the card number, expiration date, security code and name on your credit or debit card, and then tap "Add and Continue." The next screen gives you more options for your credit or debit card.
Step 8. Tap to place a check mark next to "Set as Default Payment Method" if you want to use this credit or debit card as the default payment method when you make purchases on Amazon. Additionally, if you want to change or modify the billing address associated with your card, tap "Billing Address" to update this information. Tap "Save" after making your changes. You'll see a note that your new credit or debit card has been added to your Amazon account.
