To add a friend in-game while in the lobby in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (Black Ops 6), follow these steps:

1. Open the Social Menu:
Console (PlayStation/Xbox): Press the Options button (PlayStation) or Menu button (Xbox) to access the in-game menu.
PC: Press the Esc key to open the in-game menu.
2. Navigate to the Social Tab:
Use the bumper buttons (R1/L1 on PlayStation or RB/LB on Xbox) to switch to the Social tab.
3. Search for Your Friend:
Select "Friends" or "Social" from the menu to view your friends list or to search for new friends.
