The Netflix app comes installed on Roku home screens by default. However, whether you removed it because you didn't have a Netflix subscription at the time, or someone else removed it to play a joke, you can quickly reinstall the Netflix app in a matter of minutes.

Now let's walk through the steps to add the Netflix app to your Roku account.

Step 1. Navigate to your Roku home screen.

Step 2. Scroll down and then select "Streaming Channels" in the menu on the left side of the screen. The Channel Store screen appears.

Step 3. Select "Search Channels" in the menu on the left side of the screen. The Search Channels screen appears.

Step 4. Enter "Netflix." A list of search results will appear on the right side of the screen. Select "Netflix" in the list of results. The Netflix information screen appears.

Step 5. Select "Add Channel" on the Netflix information screen. An Adding Channel window appears on the screen notifying you that the Netflix channel is being added to your Roku account. A Channel Added window will appear telling you when the Netflix channel has been successfully added. Press "OK" on your Roku remote to close the dialog box. You'll be returned to your Roku home screen where you'll see the Netflix channel has now been added.
