How To Add Reaper VST EQ To OBS And Check Your Audio Levels In Real Time
10I wanted to improve my audio quality a bit and to do that I knew I would need to add some VST filters to OBS but for the life of me I couldn't find a sane way to actually test my audio levels in real time.
As most tutorials online do not cover this aspect they just tell you how to get VSTs into OBS I wanted to share a simple method where you pre-record yourself talking WITHOUT FILTERS, then replay that on a loop and apply filters to it until you are happy with how it sounds.
Once you are done all you need to do is copy and paste the filters onto your mic source and you are done.
While this is all super simple stuff, I didn't find any major tutorials detailing this approach so wanted to share it in case it helps anyone else out there. This is also my first ever tutorial video so hope it was ok.
