To appear offline on an Xbox One console and hide your online status from your friends and contacts, you can follow these steps:

Sign In: Make sure you're signed in to your Xbox One console using your profile.

Press the Xbox Button: Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

Navigate to Your Profile: Use the D-pad or thumbstick to navigate to the "Profile & system" tab in the guide.

Appear Offline: Within the "Profile & system" tab, you'll see your profile icon and name at the top. Select your profile to access your profile options.
