Press the Xbox Button: Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the Guide.

Navigate to "System": Use the left thumbstick to navigate to the "System" tab, which looks like a gear icon.

Select "Settings": Highlight and select "Settings" by pressing the "A" button.

Navigate to "Account": In the Settings menu, navigate to the "Account" tab.

Select "Sign-in, security & passkey": Under Account, choose "Sign-in, security & passkey."

Enter Your Account Password: If prompted, enter your Xbox Live account password to access the security settings.

Select "Change my sign-in & security preferences": Under the "Sign-in, security & passkey" menu, choose "Change my sign-in & security preferences."

Choose "Customize" under "Ask for my passkey": Scroll down and find the "Ask for my passkey" option. Select "Customize."

Choose When to Ask for the Passkey: You will be presented with different options for when to ask for your passkey. To set it up for store purchases, choose one of the following options:

"Every time" (This will ask for the passkey every time you make a purchase)
"Never" (This will disable the passkey for purchases)
"After 1 hour" (This will ask for the passkey once, and then you won't need it for any subsequent purchases within an hour)
Set a Passkey: If you haven't already set up a passkey, you will be prompted to create one. Choose a secure passkey (PIN) and confirm it.

Confirm Your Passkey: You'll be asked to confirm your passkey by entering it a second time.

Return to Home Screen: Once your passkey is set up, you can return to the Xbox Home screen.
