As of June 5th 2018, a new patch has FIXED warpaint and you should now be able to apply it normally after crafting it. To see how to CRAFT warpaint, check out this video: https://youtu.be/vgGlZqwQvmo

Learning how to apply war paint is one of the Chapter 5 objectives in Conan Exiles. It was previously glitched to where there was no way to apply it, but this is now fixed on consoles (PS4 and XBox). This video covers how to apply warpaint you have already crafted.
