Recon is known as a solo class. Mainly because of staying away from the battle and sniping, but there are still some team uses to be had.

Recon, while it's main use is sniping, ha spotting gadgets. These can be extremely useful for the rest of your teammates, not just the squad. You can cover an objective in a flare, or spot enemies that are coming closer. There is also the spawn beacon, and amazing piece of equipment. Probably, the spawn beacon is the sole reason to pick Recon.
