How To Beat Corpser Boss Fight On First Try - Strategy Guide Gears Tactics Read Description For Tips
1In this video, I show how I defeated the Corpser boss on my very first try. You'll encounter the Corpser monster boss in Act 2 Chapter 8 story mission titled Trapped. We also almost caught Ukkon, but Sid Redburn tried taking him. Ukkon manages to escape, then the Corpser shows up.
Strategy Guide Tips:
Don't get too greedy on destroying the corpser's shield/damaging it if the opportunity is not right. Grenade cooldowns are very important and it'll open up sometimes anyway. Emergence holes will pop up. Unless you can close them by planting grenades, I suggest to mostly ignore them for the most part - the corpser will sometimes create mines in the battlefield which the enemy will sometimes run into. Mikayla probably did the most damage to Corpser - make sure to keep her safe. I had a build where certain hits / downs would give her additional action points. It was absolutely crucial in this stage. Don't forget to heal! Gabe was my only healer and I opted to heal my team whenever necessary, rather than do little damage to the corpser. Ultimately, you want to avoid the ground attacks. These attacks also damage the other enemies so that's really good for you. Take it slow, have patience. I think only one character was downed in my playthrough and it really didn't make that much of a difference. This boss fight is much easier than the Brumak one, in my opinion.
