Blocking people on Instagram is easy and will prevent them from seeing any information about your account. Blocked Instagram accounts will also be unable to direct message you. Unblocking Instagram account is also very easy.

Follow the steps below to block someone on Instagram:
1. Go to the profile page of the person you want to block in the Instagram app.
2. Once on their profile, open the menu by selecting the 3 dots in the top right of the Instagram app.
3. In the menu select Block
4. Confirm that you want to block the Instagram account.
5. You have now blocked someone on Instagram.
Follow the steps below to unblock someone on Instagram:
1. Go to the profile page of the person you want to unblock in the Instagram app.
2. Select the button that says Unblock.
Follow the steps below to unblock someone on Instagram if you can't find their account:
1. In the Instagram app, go to your Instagram profile page.
2. Open the menu by selecting the 3 lines in the top right of the Instagram app.
3. In the menu, select Settings at the bottom.
4. in the settings, select Privacy.
5. In Privacy under Connections, select Block Accounts.
6. You will now see a list of every account you have blocked on Instagram.
7. Simply select the account you want to unblock to go to their profile page.
8. Once on their profile page, select Unblock.
