Today I'm going to show you how to block someone on Instagram. You can do so by clicking the three dots next to their profile picture in your feed or search bar, then selecting "block." If they are not showing up in your feed anymore, it means that they have been blocked. I'm going to show you how to block or unblock people on Instagram. So first off, let me tell you that blocking somebody will stop them from being able to see your posts on their feed. You can also use this feature if they are harassing you over IG by sending rude comments, DMs, etc. On the other hand if someone is not bothering you but just annoying then it might be wise for you to mute them instead of blocking them altogether because muted users still have access and can engage with your posts as well as.
1. Tap the profile of the person you want to block
2. Scroll down and tap Block this Person at the bottom
3. You'll be asked if you're sure- tap Block Anyway
4. The person will now be blocked from following your account, sending you messages, or seeing posts on your Instagram feed
