I'm here today with a quick tutorial on how to find your Instagram message request. When you get an Instagram message request it can be really confusing as to what that means because the icon changes depending on whether or not someone has DM'd you before. That's why today we're going to break down everything so that you know exactly what those messages mean and when they happen. You will see a list of all incoming messages from other users that have requested contact with you via Instagram Direct Message (DM). Click on any message notification in order to read the full text of the DM conversation.
1. Log into your Instagram account
2. Click on the "Request" tab at the top of your screen
3. From this page, you can see who has messaged you and what they have requested from you
