Today I have a few ways to help boost your fps in CSGO. Now I’ve got a few different methods here and you might find some to work and some not to work. Hopefully by the end of the video we’ll get at least one working for you and you’ll see a notable difference in your frames per second. Now obviously the more frames you get the smoother your gaming experience will be but also it’s down to your monitor and the refresh rate of your monitor so we’ll be having a look at that as well. So the methods we’re going to be taking a look at are the ingame settings, launch options, core parking, updating drivers, optimising drivers, using a game booster and finally your monitor settings.

INGAME SETTINGS - 1:04
You want to have all your advanced video settings on low to get the best FPS. For the resolution, the lower the better for your FPS. But obviously the lower you put your resolution, the worse your game is going to look. If you go to change your aspect ration you can get even lower resolutions but you'll have to start playing stretched or with black bars.

LAUNCH OPTIONS - 3:05
-novid
Starting the game with this launch option will remove the Valve intro that normally plays at the beginning. A must-have launch option in my opinion, because I find that intro is annoying as hell.
-high
This will start the game in high-priority mode. This launch option can help players with lower-end computers to get less lag and a few more fps, but it is not a guarantee. Test this launch option, if you don’t notice any improvement performance-wise, remove this launch option again.

CORE PARKING - 4:05

This will help people on the older operating systems like Windows 7 which wasn't the best in terms of core parking. If you can't seem to get this to work, don't worry too much. The frame difference isn't generally that much.

UPDATING DRIVERS - 5:23

http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-uk (NVIDIA)
This is pretty much self explanatory. Update your drivers and experience a higher FPS (most of the time).

OPTIMISING DRIVERS - 6:05
With your new drivers you can look to optimise them via their settings. If you optimise them well they can help with your FPS in game.

GAME BOOSTER - 7:42

Some say they help, others say they just clog up your harddrive.
Just try it out and see if you can gain a few frames here and there. If not then you can easily just uninstall the program.

MONITOR SETTINGS - 9:10
Just make sure you have the correct refresh rate for your monitor and you'll be good to go. 144Hz lifeeeee xD
